Hi @BlueBay
I know you feel anxious about having an MRI but I have had four and while they are not my favourite pass-time it's noisy but nothing to fret about - honestly
I've had two on my spine, one on my knee and one on my shoulder - the shoulder was the hard one because I had to keep breathing of course and this made the films a bit blurry
The ones on my spine were longer and I tend to get claustophobia - so I felt a bit tense but practised self-hypnosis - this destraction is enough. In fact I can freak out about things and entertain everyone making up jokes but this is hard in an MRI machine
Of course you are worried about the results but I am pretty sure that here they are just making sure you haven't got something happening - and that it's your BP and all the changes in medication that you have had that have caused the headaches
I feel for you though - but and MRI is a really good way of finding out what's going on inside
with everything else you have had happening an MRI is pretty low down on things to worry about - but I do understand
You have enough going on

Hi @BlueBay
I've had an MRI too, and I was able to get through the test quite easily. I just watched my breathing and counted when I needed to, just to refocus myself- it did work. Are you in hospital in Melbourne- is it a big clinic or quite small. I hope you have seen your psych. Tomorrow I would be out of hospital for 4 weeks.

Sorry its a bad night for you @BlueBay
Hope that the headache eases a bit with the painkillers. I wish disappearing and running away could work too! hugs
