these 2 pics are for both of you @BlueBay@utopia

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. They found something on my MRI. Only had it condirmed last week. I'd had a stroke. Sometime - maybe a year ago. I think it may have been around Aug Sept Oct last year. Think that's when my memory waa at it's worst. And doesn't loik like any permanent damage - just fatigue. But it dies mean that my gp and I can now focus on lowering my future risk if stroke.
And I don't want you thinking you have had a stroke. Our symotoms are very different. Just telling you this, because if they find anything - then they start treatment. If they don't - then that rules out some causes.
@outlander. Yes my moods been getting bad all year. Last few weeks I'm really sinking in my depression. So a hospital stay it is. Gp will talk ro the hospital tomorrow and find out timeline. But workcover must approve the stay first

My gosh

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I know you feel anxious about having an MRI but I have had four and while they are not my favourite pass-time it's noisy but nothing to fret about - honestly

I've had two on my spine, one on my knee and one on my shoulder - the shoulder was the hard one because I had to keep breathing of course and this made the films a bit blurry

The ones on my spine were longer and I tend to get claustophobia - so I felt a bit tense but practised self-hypnosis - this destraction is enough. In fact I can freak out about things and entertain everyone making up jokes but this is hard in an MRI machine

Of course you are worried about the results but I am pretty sure that here they are just making sure you haven't got something happening - and that it's your BP and all the changes in medication that you have had that have caused the headaches

I feel for you though - but and MRI is a really good way of finding out what's going on inside

with everything else you have had happening an MRI is pretty low down on things to worry about - but I do understand

You have enough going on

Hi @BlueBay Smiley Happy

I've had an MRI too, and I was able to get through the test quite easily. I just watched my breathing and counted when I needed to, just to refocus myself- it did work. Are you in hospital in Melbourne- is it a big clinic or quite small. I hope you have seen your psych. Tomorrow I would be out of hospital for 4 weeks.

Re: not feeling good

Thankyou @outlander
@utopia I'm sorry to read about your stroke. Hope your stsybin hospital is soon. I had a feeling you weren't traveling too well lately. Will your son be ok while your in hospital?
@Owlunar you know me - stresshead.
I just saw my psych (yeah at this time of the night) and is concerned about my headaches but feels there from my BP. he told me not to worry. But t he did text my physician who called back to say he will see me tomo about my BP. such quick setvice - it's amazing.
Psych has stopped meds that he started on and changed again and put me back on other one I was on last week. It does make me sleep well. So tonight shld be a good night sleep.
Hi @Change123 hope you're well. I'm in a small private hospital that has 18 beds in mental health ward. The hospital has a rehab and general wards as well. But it's not in middle of Melbourne. It's an hr away from Melbourne but only 15 mins from home.
I love this hospital.
I think i need to sleep now. Goodnight everyone.

Re: not feeling good

I'm with you @BlueBay and @Former-Member on running away and disappearing! Thinking of you both Heart

Re: not feeling good

Feeling like I need to disappear for a while. I could easily go outside now. Feeling very alone and depressed sad and emotional. Do t want to join the rest of them in art room. There all in there. I just want to be on my own peace and quiet. But that's not helping.
Why is this so hard. I hate it.
