Hi @buzzer40,
I'm sorry you're going through this - I imagine it must be difficult feeling like your experiences are being invalidated. I really hope you're able to get the support you deserve for what you're experiencing.

Re: Told it's all just Borderline Personality Disorder
Hmmm. I'm no expert but as a consumer, I'd say that warrants a second opinion @buzzer40 .
As a non expert, I still know that BPD doesn't mean, not under abuse (it very often means the opposite).
I also know that "pretending to be gay" isn't on the DSM. Being gay was taken of the DSM for 100 good reasons. I would certainly not like to see any practitioner trying to sneak it back on via false proxy diagnosis. As a non-expert, that would seem like the kind of malicious malpractice that could end a so-called expert's career.
I wonder what the actual experts, like the Human Rights Tribunal or the Australian Psychological Society, would have to say.

@wellwellwellnez This was coming from a public hospital. Suggest was need to deal with BPD ASAP, and stop making it out to family violence issues. Worst thing is having it documented as i ask people seem becoming more clear likely not BPD at all
