Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

@Sophie1

Please don't feel pressured in any way to share.

I know I get so frustrated when we are trying to do our best for our loved ones and we feel like we are knocking our head against a brick wall.

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

Hi All

great news - a milestone for Ms S ... we went out for an evening of fun with friends at a fancy dress event with a couple hundred people - I didn’t know how Ms S would handle it - well to both our pleasant surprise she LOVED IT !!!!! she said she enjoyed interacting with strangers and our friends and even though she was anxious the whole time and panicked when she thought she’d left her evening meds at home (which lasted 30mins in the toilets looking through her bag until she found me in the crowd and realised I had them in my bag) ... overall she said she realised how much she had been lonely at home and that she misses being with people ... I was so over joyed - as was Ms S as we talked over coffee this morning and realised she is in a better place than we thought in terms of socialising 🙂 hasn’t been like this for over three years at least ...really smiling as I write this - nice to have a win once in a while - really really &;!,@:@/ nice !!!! ... MsS then proceeded after our coffee and chat to leave the house to be with her friend for a few hours while I need to do some work ... another win ! She also mentioned wanting to return to a part time paid job next year to alleviate loneliness and earn money yay !!! Fingers crossed this direction continues ... thought I’d share my joy xx 🙂 ..... now time for me to work 🙂 bye 🙂

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

Hi  @Sophie1

Just having a look through your thread now, sorry I have not responded sooner but have a lot on my mind at the moment. I am more than happy to folow along here and support where I can.

I suport my wife who lives borderline personality disorder and have a thread here where I discuss our journey.  Glad you have been able to find some support here.

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

hopefully they get approved quickly @Sophie1
How are you tonight?

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

@Determined Thx I do watch your thread - partly because my Mum has strong Borderline Personality Disorder traits for many years now and I can relate from that perspective and also because I saw you Le comments pop up on several threads

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

@outlander I am just winding down to sleep after a busy day at work and dealing with Ms S who is over tired and a bit cranky

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

Sounds like a good plan. Hopefully Ms S will get a good sleep and be a little brighter tomorrow too @Sophie1

Re: Sharing my life with Ms Sophie (Bipolar II)

@outlander@Former-Member Woken up at 5am by Ms S madly searching for painkillers as migraine peaking again 😞

just driving in early to office to get my computer so I can work from home and take Ms S to doctor for neurologist referral and pain killers ... poor darling looks in so much pain
