Am Not Coping

It will be at least a couple of weeks before I find out what school I will be going to @Appleblossom and trying to stay busy when I can to not think about it too much. It has been a quiet few days - mainly resting, painting and being on here - today I am going to the Taste of Tasmania with my sister ...some good food, maybe a wine or two and good music and the day will be a fulfilling one. Then home to celebrate the new year with my forum friends - all in all hoping for a great day here. Hoping your day is filled with light Apple and the coming year is a good one for you

What are you doing in wood work.  I am guessing it is not the small boat models ... or is it??  Houses can be never ending work, but if you chip away at it and enjoy the rewards of every job it is actually a great and sufficient way of life.  Proud of you.  Glad your relationship is going well.

I am trying to get back into playing more piano at home and singing in chorus in a Wagner opera. 

I chose modern music to give me some contrast.  Lots of hits from last century ... ha ha .. thats my idea of modern.

My son is having time out from his relationship, which might be good thing.  There were complications and he was really too inexperienced and she was making demands that he really was wise not to promise ...  They seem to be staying friends though, which is really great ... She is a lot older and that might be the best outcome for both of them ...

@Appleblossom gosh it is so so nice to chat with you again. 

oh no the ships are on a standstill, my hands just shake too much, im really disapointed, no im making a beautiful bed side organiser which i will post a picture of and a beautiful watch box.

yes i enjoy doing housework, cleaning, fixing, etc, it gives me a feeling of achievement each day.

oh im so so glad you are getting back into your passion and hobby, and im so glad you are expanding your horisons in music, there is so  so many beautiful piano tunes out there.

im sorry to hear about your son, maybe it is for the best that they take a break and evaluate their future, im so glad they can be friends and not nasty to each other.

They sound like great projects. @Jacques I love wood in the home.  I dont have many fine pieces, apart from general furniture.  I have a large home made chest for a lounge table and a beautiful large leadlight panel that my brother made set in wood.  (about a metre square.)

My son has his own difficult year, not to do with girlfriend.  It will be good to put it behind us.  She wanted him to commit to overseas travel which he could not reasonably do.  She does not pay board, but puts all her pension into savings, and has a part European life style.  Travelling also has never been a big goal for him, so it is where their interests separate ... In a way it is all good life experience.  I am staying out of it.

I have you managed to meet your friend in the really real ... ?
