A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

@Emelia8  Thinking of you, haven't seen you around, hoping that that means you are OK and busy with your new home...

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Hi @Eve7 😄

My apologies for not responding to your lovely post here from almost two weeks ago. I simply didnt see it until this morning,  after I got a notification about Nature Lovers post here. Not sure why,  but I dont think I got a notification of your post. Or if I did,  then I missed it. I'm sorry.

Anyway,  thank you. The flowers, grown by your friend's husband, are very beautiful. I really appreciate you sharing them with me. ♥

I know you have been going through a really tough time of late. Sincerely hope you are thru the worst of it. Sending some love, strength and hope your way.

Emelia

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Hi @NatureLover ♥

Yes,  I guess I have been pretty quiet for some time now.

But yeah,  you're right ... I am mostly doing okay.

Keeping busy with my continuing post surgery rehab apts twice a week. I am feeling a little stronger each week,  and happy overall with the surgery outcome. You hear so many horror stories about spinal surgery,  so its always a risk. But,  fingers crossed,  I appear to be one of the lucky ones.  I will be having 12 month post surgery xrays in November to check that all is still in order there. No hardware breakdowns 😂 or anything.

I have also just completed my 6 monthly scans,  mammograms and ultrasounds for cancer monitoring.  Saw my radiation oncologist today and got the "all clear" for another 6 months. So far so good.

Settled nicely into my new home, and very happy here. Its a great area and the house itself is very practical and easy to live in.

No other news that I can think of.

Just tagging a few others to hear my update

Re: A Life of Trauma and Tragedy (Possibly Triggering Content)

Wonderful news about your new home @Emelia8 I imagine you have it looking very homely.

I am so glad your back surgery has given you such a splendid outcome and that the cancer is giving no more problems.

Onwards and upwards my friend.
