14th year house bound

Re: 14th year house bound

Thanks Jacques
I don't know how you do it. You always know the right thing to say thank you.

I would prefer to be around children than adults.

Just me.....

one little girl came up to me after their dance and told me I am beautiful. I was so surprised no one has ever told me that.

Move over J your taking up all the room. You and your big feet.

I hope you take it easy tonight

Thanks for the information J.

Re: 14th year house bound

Hi Jacques
thanks for the information. They are the most experienced place to receive help the only hospital specializing in PTSD.

Unfortunately my Mental health team contacted them to try and get me admitted but I don't live in their catchment area. So I am unable to go.

Gosh you are good. Finding that information.

They are the best in Melbourne.

Re: 14th year house bound

OMG what a shame, it would have been good to see you get the treatment you so deserve, i will keep trying for you.

Re: 14th year house bound

I was really disappointed. But I feel that I deserve what is happening to me.
I've wasted my life. I should have been stronger.

Re: 14th year house bound

Karen i am so angry, all health professionals tell you and me to seek help, when we do they say the services are not available, yet a celebraty or socialite can get into any facility they like, it is just not fair, you are trying so hard, i want you to get the best care possible, why don't these people have any sympathy or empathy, mental heath in australia is BS!!!!!!

Karen i herar your mother talking again, you did not deserve any of your horrible treatment, you had no choice he would have harmed you and the girls, you have not wasted your life, your husband took it away, he was the evil one, not you, you are a strong, intelligent, beautiful woman who deserves repect, kindness and help to deal with your horrible tratment from a monster.

sorry Karen i am just so angry at the sytem that has failed us both.  so much for the "lucky country", not lucky for you or i.

i am sorry my angel i hope i have not upset you, i just hate hearing you put yourself down.  if you only knew your inner potential.

Re: 14th year house bound

My daughter goes to a psychiatrist once every six weeks now because she is stable through Mental Health and she has appointments with her Case Manager, we have never had any problems, I am sorry things are different where you are.  I get a referral through my GP for 10 visits to a psychologist every year which are bulk billed, I don't know if this would be any help for you.
