Looking after ourselves

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Hey havent thought of you directly for a while

My mind confused,sad,frightened as usual

Thirty years on, nothing got better

The traumas from my father still live fresh in my mind

How I hate him intensely

He destroyed my world

My family,you,my happiness

I live in loneliness,sadness a d fear

My petsonal life a mess

Trying so hard

No progress in thiety years

Hey CH,

You know tge place I wait for you under the tree

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Hey CH, i wait for you under tbe tree

I know you will come smiling ,kind and embracing

The years didnt dim your charm

Your smile still lights up my life

Time flown away rhe marks of youth

But the tree is still quietly there waiting

Do you know the nightmares of tormwnt

The endless darkness devours

CH, hey

Wait for you under the tree

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

The tree where we used to sit under

CH, your tender smiles hiding the pains

MD by my side

CH, those years gone under

CH, your name sound so sweet

My heart lowly with tears

MD my friend

I am struggling tonight

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

@Mazarita  This is a great thread. I think the good side of mental illnes is that people are creative. It would be interesting to do a study.

Re: Writing As A Form Of Therapy

@Maggie Hey Maggie, how are you going? Just got up from a nap, drinking tea. Had a big walk this morning. Hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care.
